This is a story is about Tree-Dwelling Elf and her four forest friends Magical Rastaman, Crystal Queen, Healing Wizard and Eartha the Momma Bear. This group of friends come together to bake a very special cake filled with magic to help the sad forest dwellers. And although they think it’s the cake that’s magic, they discover it’s something even more special.
— Brwn Girl in the Ring

Expect to be charmed by a story of other-worldly fantasy, community and a group of seemly very different forest beings who all share a loving spirit.

The Day the Star Tribe Made a Magical Cake, our upcoming chidren’s audiobook and published printed book, is fantasy escapism based in a woodland wonderland and gently covers themes around mental health. The music covers neo-soul, R&B, hip hop, with a smattering of drum and bass and rock, giving it intergenerational appeal to children and parents, guardians and carers.

The story has been written for children aged 7 - 11 and their grown ups.

We’ll be running preview workshops with local schools and in Sandwell Libaries to help us design the book. Watch this space for more announcements, coming soon!
